freezing

they canceled school today. it was 20 below zero. yes. i typed that right. my neighbor christine (who's husband is a school teacher) said how they determine whether or not to cancel school is by the temperature. apparently the buses, which run on diesel, cannot function below a certain point because the diesel freezes...at 20 below. so, thus, school was canceled.

so...the boys and i bundled up and went walking at the church gym for some energy expenditures. my cute friend aleisha brought donuts and a remote controlled helicopter for the 10 children we had there. my other friend kathy brought a tri-cycle which all 3 of my boys fought over the entire time we were there. nice. it was fun and i am very lucky to have such a nice place (and wonderful friends might i add) to spend time with and get all the wiggles out that are festering in my children. BUT.....nonetheless, i am still freezing. today while on the computer i had to put on gloves because my hands were seriously freezing. and might i add my thermostat is set at 70. i am dreaming of summer activities and wearing shorts and my chacos and smelling hamburgers on the grill and even cutting the grass. and of course, playing at the beach at bear lake.

until then i will try and remain positive and think of all the projects i can do...indoors...again.

oh honey-i feel the pain! i have just about 3 feet of snow in my yard, and when we try to go outside, one of my ladies gets undressed as we get dressed, and getting 3 people in snow stuff makes me sweat. i can't wait for summer!
