the latest

well folks, we have a dog! well, actually it's my parents' dog, kassie... but we are keeping her until they come home from a mission!! Yes, my parents are going on a mission!! So exciting and bittersweet at the same time. oh i will miss them. And where are they going you ask? Well, we don't know yet; we are waiting to hear. I'll keep ya posted.

kassie has been so much fun for us. a little more work, but she has been great. of course, the boys adore her. the first 3 or 4 nights they slept in the basement with her on the spare bed. she slept right in between them. it was pretty cute. i have loved taking her on walks everyday and having her just be with me. at nights if dillon is on call, she just sits next to me while i read and it's fun. it's nice to have another girl in the house...even if it's a dog. lame, huh? anyway, she is wonderful and we love having her in our family. thanks mom and dad...and josh too!

here are a few things we've been up to lately...

celia, boone, dillon and i went cross-country skiing and then sledding with papa don, gma and the boys. so fun!
