Don't worry Kentucky family and friends, I WILL post pictures from KY. I just need a huge amount of time to actually do that one. so, enjoy these until then.
dill-weed and i went on a 24 hour backpacking trip in the tetons...my most favorite place on the planet. it was wonderful! mom and dad watched the monkeys for us while we had our little get-away. which was a win-win situation for all of us. we hiked 8 miles into a bee-U-tiful place called granite basin, had a tastey dinner of cous cous and tuna pitas right before it started raining, and spent the night in our 1 man-1 woman tent :) we are fans of the big agnes tents after sleeping bone-dry all night through a steady rainfall. woke up to a crisp clear mountain morning overlooking the lake. nice. then hiked 8 miles out a different way. it was great! i love my sweet husband! and i love the tetons!

i'm very jealous of your wild backpacking trip! that is wonderful you two got to go party in the tetons. oh how i miss mountains. and hiking in them.

Seeing those pictures makes my heart melt! I love the Tetons! I am so happy you stayed dry and got to enjoy an adventure together, just the two of you. Love ya!
