so i decided over the week that my hair resembled the forever 80's mullet...so i got it cut again...at no extra charge, bytheway. i like this short hair business. it's fun. so here's some pictures of it for those of you who were asking what it looked like.
AND the best news since i last posted was that dillon's brother dean came home from his mission. he was serving in the beautiful Samoa. we have LOVED hearing his stories of the great people in that country and their way of life. he told us, "they have nothing and they are so happy." the greatest things in life are those which we cannot hold. we got to spend a few days with him and dillon's family and it was lots of fun. we dyed eggs and had a little easter egg hunt. 'twas fun. we are so happy to have dean home. he is great and we sure love 'em.
i also wanted to post some pictures for my grandma of parker in his new John Deere apron. she sent me some john deere fabric and parker LOVES to help me cook, so i thought an apron would be a great way to solve my problem of keeping him clean and using the cute fabric too. and the john deere motif helps to keep the apron not so girly looking. it's a manly apron, wouldn't you agree?
and another thing...my mom sent the boys some PJ's or as parker calls them "pay-jays" so here's some pictures of the boys, mom, so you can see how cute they are in their new pay-jays. thanks!
and the MOST important thing of all is Easter, (even though i'm a week late). we testify that our Savior lives. He died and was resurrected so that we ALL might live again. we love Him. we love His Gospel. and we love His beautiful plan of happiness. i know that by coming unto Christ, our sins can be forgiven, our burdens may be light and we have reason for hope. May His love bring you peace.
the Prophet Joseph Smith said this statement in response to the frequently asked question "What are the fundamental principles of your religion?"...
"The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it."
